About the event
In this 4-week workshop we will explore the power of “time travel” by using old personal photographs as our muse. In 2019, Nicole Donovan stumbled across a file of old family photographs taken by her father, and inspiration struck! She began writing potent and reflective entries in her journal as she connected with the images and her ancestry. As a result, she wrote a series of ten essays, which she published entitled: Saturday Snapshot Stories. As she deepened into the art of reflective writing practices, it brought her unexpected gifts of connection and a shift in her perspective.
In this stepping-stone class we will explore reflective writing and how to use this supportive practice as a tool in your life. At the completion of this 6-week class, you will have several stories and impressions for your journal.
